In the epson scanner was the following items of note:
Lens for Image Sensor (small, but technically usable as small microscope)
Two Flourescent Lamps
Motor
Optocoupler
Ferrite Rings
Ribbon Cable x 2
There's also the neat image sensor, but don't know how to interface to that.
